The IAR Programme

The Highways Agency Information Asset Register (IAR) is part of a programme led by Her Majesty's Stationery Office, to improve access to the information assets of all Government Departments and Agencies whether they are in hard copy or electronic form.

This site was launched in December 2000 in response to recommendations from the Government's White paper on the Future Management of Crown Copyright, (Cm 4300). Over the coming months the Highways Agency will be adding more information to the IAR.

This register is under regular review and the Highways Agency welcomes feedback on its value and ease of use to those accessing these pages.
