Procurement Strategy Review

2.3 Developing our Working Methods

- making our procurement policies and processes stronger

To achieve greater consistency and help ensure the delivery of best value, we will:

  • Publish and review all our procurement processes as part of the rollout of the Agency's Way We Work Project
  • Monitor progress against our strategy and assure compliance with policies and procedures, ensuring those procedures deliver best value
  • Implement changes to policies and procedures where better value might be obtained
  • Ensure regional procurement teams have the necessary tools and guidance to implement the strategy and procure Agency requirements in a consistent manner including giving feedback to suppliers on key activities such as performance in tendering and service delivery
  • Implement a programme of review to ensure that propriety and regularity are maintained.
