Research & Technical Consultancy
Research & Technical Consultancy
The Research & Technical Consultancy team will be building relationships with suppliers and developing new processes that will contribute towards the following overlying principles of the Highways Agency's Procurement Strategy:
- An integrated and incentivised supply chain.
- Maintaining a competitive and sustainable supply chain.
- Selection of suppliers on the basis of best value, i.e., the optimal combination of quality and price.
- Partnership approach based upon close working relationships.
- Performance measurement and continual improvement targets.
The following tables contain information on current contracts and forthcoming tendering opportunities. These contracts are for services relating to research & development or technical consultancy. The majority of Safety Standards & Research Directorate's work is provided for by the current Provision of Technical Consultancy (2/666) and Provision of Research and Development Services (3/387) Frameworks. Future standalone contract requirements are therefore minimal.
