Industry Advisory Group (IAG)

Industry Advisory Group

Background

The Industry Advisory Group (IAG) comprises of representatives from the Highways Agency Procurement, Major Projects and Network Operations Directorates, CAT Assessors and Key members of our supplier base.

It is a focal point to facilitate raising awareness of key issues relating to the supplier selection and development, which affect both the Highways Agency and the supplier base, in keeping with best value and having a sustainable supply chain.

It provides a mechanism of capturing the opinions of all our suppliers, not just those attending the workshop.

The IAG also has four sub-groups, to examine specific areas in more detail:

Each sub-group takes actions and reports to each full IAG meeting

Other sub-groups may be set up to deal with arising issues.
