Information Directorate
Information Directorate (ID) is responsible for Information Technology projects and desktop IT systems across the Agency. It collects roads information to support Business Decisions for internal use to support the Agency’s core role of Network Manager, and provides information direct to road users and the public through the National Traffic Control Centre (NTCC) and Highways Agency Information Line (HAIL)
ID key objectives are to:
- Develop and deliver the HA Information Strategy.
- Enable the delivery of the right information to the right place at the right time.
- Provide governance in respect of information and investment therein.
- Provide leadership in all aspects of information management.
- Enable and facilitate better use of information through delivery of information systems and services.
- Be the centre of excellence for information development, information management and delivery.
- Be a catalyst for Agency Transformation.
