At the Interview
If you pass the screening stage, you will be invited to attend an interview session/presentation. We will contact you at least five days before the event to ensure that you have time to make appropriate arrangements.
Please note the interview contains competency based questions; please read the guidance if you are not familiar with competency based interviewing.
You will participate in a presentation and interview(s) which will test the required competencies for the role, as well as testing your Programme & Project Management skills. Further details will be sent to you about what to expect at the interview stage if you are successfully shortlisted.
Please note that there may be observers at both the interview and presentation exercise. We will contact you after your interview when results have been scored to advise you of the outcome.
If you are successful at the interview, you may be offered a role with the Highways Agency, pending satisfactory responses to security checks, criminal records checks and medical assessment.
If you consider that you may have a disability and are eligible under the GIS scheme, you will automatically be put forward to the second stage provided that you satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria.
