Creating safer roads, more reliable journeys, and more informed travelers, you will play a key role in helping to deliver some major projects. Assisting with budget management and financial reporting, you will ensure forecast project outcomes are accurate, managed and undertaken to agreed timescales.
Supporting delivery of a range of business plan targets, which will include the management of work strands as directed, you will manage supplier performance to budget quality and time. You will also contribute to the increased commercial awareness of this department.
Working seamlessly with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to ensure skills are successfully transferred within the team, you will also be key to ensuring every project delivers best value on a whole-life basis, this means providing benefits to customers both during delivery and following completion.
Approachable, flexible and educated to degree level (or equivalent) or with proven experience within a similar role, you will quickly make yourself an invaluable part of the team as you build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Able to benchmark for cost and performance comparisons, you must be a confident communicator with strong contract management and negotiation skills.
