Drive Change Forwards - Various IT Roles

Turn Hard Drives into Easier Ones

The Highways Agency is here to help millions of road users get where they want to go safely and reliably. We are responsible for operating, maintaining and improving the strategic road network in England.

The Highways Agency Information Directorate is responsible for Information Technology projects and desktop IT systems across the Highways Agency. It collects roads information to support the Agency’s core role of Network Manager, and provides information direct to road users and the public.

A key objective of the Information Directorate is to develop and deliver the Highways Agency Information Strategy - providing better information, more efficiently and effectively to more people.

The Information Strategy aims to provide information to road users using existing and emerging technologies. The objective is to have a greater influence on travel patterns and reduce congestion on the motorways and trunk roads of England.

You’ll reduce congestion and help millions get to where they’re going safely and reliably. Are you ready to help us collect, use and share trusted traffic information via the very latest technology?
