At the Interview
At the Interview
If you pass the screening stage, you will be invited to attend an assessment session. We will contact you at least five days before the event to ensure that you have time to make appropriate arrangements.
You will participate in a group exercise, a written exercise and an interview(s) all of which will test the required competencies for the role.
Please note the interview contains competency based questions; please read the guidance if you are not familiar with competency based interviewing.
Please note that there may be observers at both the interview and the exercises. We will contact you after your assessment when results have been scored to advise you of the outcome.
If you are successful, you may be offered a role with the Highways Agency, pending satisfactory responses to security checks, criminal records checks.
If you consider that you may have a disability and are eligible under the GIS scheme, you will automatically be put forward to the second stage provided that you satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria.
