Support Network

Fellow Travellers

Graduates

We believe that having a strong support network will always help your development and increase your enjoyment while on the scheme. Support, advice and guidance will come from several directions, including a graduate 'buddy' who is likely to be someone currently on the Graduate Development Scheme.

Through his or her own experience, your buddy will be able to offer advice and suggestions, answer questions and share thoughts. After all, they've already been there themselves.

You'll also have a mentor who will be someone with diverse experience in the business. Their impartiality can be very important at times when you need help working through things such as work issues, career paths, skills development and other issues.

Naturally, support will also come from your Line Manager, who'll be responsible for your day to day development. They will have regular review meetings with you to ensure your objectives are being met and your progress is going according to plan.

If you are an engineer you will also be matched with a delegated engineer (for civil engineers) or a technical mentor (for electrical engineers) who will support you through your journey towards chartership both during and beyond the scheme.

Your development and motivation are as important to us as they are to you, so we'll be with you every step of the way.
