Better Information
We have now launched the latest edition of our journey planning booklet, Think Ahead Move Ahead. The aim of the booklet is to provide you with updated information about our services, safety advice and information about how to plan your journeys. It contains details of useful services to give you up-to-date traffic information when and where you want it, including our website, automated telephone line and the new digital and online Traffic Radio service. We have also added pages which include information about our traffic officers, diversion routes and travel plans.
Our customer research tells us that there is a growing trend for road users to plan their journeys and Think Ahead Move Ahead promotes awareness of and the benefits of using our information services. A well planned journey is likely to be more reliable and could help decrease congestion and minimise your impact on the environment.
So that you have a choice in how you access the information contained in the booklet we are now launching the web version of Think Ahead Move Ahead as well as a printable booklet version available for download from this site. If you would like a hard copy which includes a free road atlas or have any feedback about this or any other aspect of our service, please call our information line on 08457 50 40 30.
