New removal powers for Traffic Officers - public consultation closed
The public consultation on the removal, storage and disposal of vehicles by Traffic Officers and the Secretary of State for Transport has now closed.
We are grateful to everyone who has commented on the proposals. These responses will be reviewed and, if appropriate, the proposed regulations may be amended. As the consultation has closed we are unable to accept further responses.
We will publish a response to the consultation by the end of May 2008 and we currently anticipate that the regulations will come into force in August 2008.
