National Vehicle Recovery Service goes live in the South East

The National Vehicle Recovery Service has gone live in the South East Regional Control Centre region.

On Tuesday 3 March 2009, Traffic Officers in the South East were the second region to start using their new removal and disposal powers, and the National Vehicle Recovery Manager contract.

Roll out will continue in April in the South West region. It is expected that roll out will be complete in Summer 2009.
