A lot of finds were uncovered during the archaeological evaluation carried out for the M62 Junction 6 Improvement scheme so we thought it would be nice to provide an interactive website so you can see what we found.

National Vehicle Recovery Service goes live in the West Midlands

The National Vehicle Recovery Service is now over halfway through the regional roll out the new powers and contract.

On Wednesday 6 May 2009, new removal and disposal powers, and the National Vehicle Recovery Manager contract went live in the West Midlands Regional Control Centre region.  Traffic Officers in the West Midlands can now deal end to end with incidents outside of police interest.

Roll out will continue in June in the North West and North East regions and it is expected that roll out will be complete in Summer 2009.
