National Vehicle Recovery Service goes live in the North West
The National Vehicle Recovery Service is now is now live in 5 out of 7 Regional Control Centre regions.
On Tuesday 2 June 2009, new removal and disposal powers, and the National Vehicle Recovery Manager contract went live in the North West Regional Control Centre region. Traffic Officers in the North West can now deal end to end with incidents outside of police interest.
Roll out will continue at the end of June in the North East region and it is expected that roll out will be complete in Summer 2009.
