Highways Agency advise drivers following forecast of heavy showers 13:00 Friday 16 may to Saturday 17 May 2008

Drivers are being advised to take extra care on the roads and to check the weather forecast and road conditions before they travel as the Met Office has issued warnings of heavy, thundery showers across South West and Southern England over the weekend.

Part time traffic signal trial to reduce delays on M25 junction near Leatherhead

The Highways Agency is advising drivers that a four week trial to reduce congestion will start on Monday on the anti-clockwise exit slip road of the M25 at Junction 9 near Leatherhead in Surrey. The aim of the trial is to help reduce congestion on the M25 and therefore improve journey times and safety for drivers.
