PROGRAMME 5 - 11 JULY 2010
M6 Junction 10a (M6 / M54 Interchange)
The link road from the M6 northbound at junction 10a to the M54 westbound will be closed each night from 9.30pm to 5.30am from Wednesday 7 July to Friday 9 July for electrical works as part of the Birmingham Box Managed Motorways scheme. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 9 (Wednesbury)
Northbound and southbound exit and entry slip roads of the M6 at junction 9 will be closed from 9.00pm to 5.30am during each night from Monday 28 July to Sunday 1 August for electrical works as part of the Birmingham Box Managed Motorways scheme. Only one entry and one exit slip road will be closed at the same time. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 7 (Great Barr) to Junction 10 (Willenhall)
The northbound M6 between junctions 7 and 10 will be closed overnight from 10.00pm on Friday 9 July to 8.00am on Saturday 10 July and again from 8.00pm on Saturday 10 July to 10.00am on Sunday 11 July for erection of gantries as part of the Birmingham Box Managed Motorways Scheme. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 6 (Gravelly Hill Interchange)
Link roads from Gravelly Hill (A5127) and Tyburn Road (A38) into Birmingham Centre through junction 6 of the M6 (Spaghetti Junction) will be closed overnight from 10.00pm on Monday 5 July to 4.00am on Tuesday 6 July for maintenance works. A diversion will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 6 (Gravelly Hill Interchange)
Link roads from Salford Circus to the northbound and southbound M6 at junction 6 will be closed overnight from 9.30pm on Thursday 8 July to 5.00am on Friday 9 July for maintenance works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M40 Junction 15 (Warwick)
The southbound exit slip road of the M40 at junction 15 will be closed each night from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 5 July to Saturday 10 July as part of the M40 Junction 15 improvement works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M40 Junction 15 (Warwick)
The northbound entry slip road of the M40 at junction 15 will be closed each night from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 5 July to Saturday 10 July as part of the M40 Junction 15 improvement works. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A50 Westbound Britannia Stadium, Stoke-On-Trent
The A50 slip roads at Britannia Stadium will be closed from 6 May to 31 August for the construction of a new pedestrian underpass below Stanley Matthews Way.
A500 Etruria to Chatterley, Stoke-On-Trent
The northbound carriageway of the A500 will be closed each night from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 7 July to Thursday 8 July and again from 8.00pm on Saturday 10 July to 6.00am on Sunday 11 July for carriageway resurfacing, safety fence installation, traffic sign replacement and bridge joint repairs. A diversion route will be clearly signposted. This will not be at the same time as the southbound closure.
A500 Chatterley to Etruria, Stoke-On-Trent
The southbound carriageway of the A500 will be closed each night from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Wednesday 7 July to Sunday 11 July for carriageway resurfacing, safety fence installation, traffic sign replacement and bridge joint repairs. A diversion route will be clearly signposted. This will not be at the same time as the northbound closures.
