Land at 34 Sidley Avenue, Blackley, Manchester

The Highways Agency is intending to dispose of the freehold interest of a plot of land that originally formed part 34 Sidley Avenue adjoining the M60. The land was acquired by Compulsory Purchase Order in 2003.

This is to notify the previous owner, Dora Celia Stanley Fleet, (formally of 34 Sidley Avenue) or their successors in title, that under the Crichel Down Rules, our interpretation is that Rule 10 exempts us from offering back the land to the former owners or their successors in title as the land has materially changed since acquisition as it is now been demolished.

This notification will remain on our website for a maximum period of 2 months, after which time the land will be sold. Any correspondence regarding this matter should be addressed to:
