Area 13
Where is Area 13 and who looks after it?
Area 13 is comprised of the motorways and trunk roads in Cumbria, north Lancashire and a small part of North Yorkshire.
Since July 2003 we have employed a Managing Agent Contractor, AmeyMouchel, to maintain and carry out minor improvements to the road network in Area 13 on our behalf. The area also covers part of the privately financed A69 trunk road from Carlisle to Newcastle, though this is managed separately by Road Link Ltd.
