The Project
A major refurbishment of the A12 Bascule Bridge in Lowestoft was completed in June 2009. During the scheme all the electrical, mechanical and control systems of the lifting bridge have been refurbished or replaced. This work will ensure that the bridge remains operational for many years to come.
