The Project

Resurfacing work started on 3 June 2006 and finished on 5 June 2006.

Approximately 1km of lane one of the A1 southbound carriageway was resurfaced together with some patching in lane two. We used low noise surfacing, which is not only better for the environment but also meant the work could be carried out more efficiently as this method involves fewer vehicle journeys to collect and deposit surfacing materials.
