The Project

The Highways Agency have completed safety work to replace the existing safety fence at the A2 Boughton Street, near Dunkirk, in Kent. The works began on Monday 17 July 2006 and were completed on Friday 8 September 2006.

The renewed steel safety fence which runs along the 6.25 mile (10km) section of road between Boughton and Harbledown will protect road users by providing a separation and distance between the road and the verge.
