As part of ongoing site operations the traffic management restrictions for this scheme are as follows.
Tuesday 22 August 2006
A50 Eastbound exit slip road to Blurton Road will be closed until the end of September 2006. A local diversion via the Longton roundabout will be in operation.
Saturday 15 July 2006
A50 overnight closure of the east and westbound carriageways between the Queensway Roundabout and the Blurton Road junction between 19:00hrs and 06:00hrs (Sun 16th July 06). The diversion route to bypass this closure is via Heron Cross roundabout, Victoria Place, City Road and the A500. To access the Trentham Lakes development, please follow A500 from Queensway Roundabout (heading south towards M6 J15), A34 Stone Road, A5035 Longton Road and Stanley Mathews Way.
Emergency services can access the closure zones via the designated entry points but in doing so, they should be mindful of the presence of a 24hr workforce operating on site. The site speed limit is 15mph.
