- June 2008 - Public Consultation on current options
- Spring 2009 - Preferred Route announced
- Spring 2010 - Draft Orders published
- Winter 2010 - Public Inquiry (if required)
- Spring 2011 - Secretary of State's decision expected
- Summer 2011 - Start of Works
