The Project

The South East England Development Agency (SEEDA), in conjunction with Havant Borough Council, the Highways Agency and Hampshire County Council, started junction improvement works on the A27 at Harts Farm Way, Broadmarsh on Monday 21 August 2006.

The new £3 million traffic signal-controlled junction, constructed by Edmund Nuttall Ltd, will improve access to Harts Farm Way, and forms part of the South East England Development Agency ’s (SEEDA) development proposals for Southmoor Park and Harts Farm Way.

The western end of Harts Farm Way was re-opened to traffic on 22 December 2006.

Road works to form the new "Teardrop" junction were substantially completed at the end of May 2007.

Traffic Management

Lane closures will remain in place until the new traffic signals are operational.
