The Project
Improved signs were installed along the A259 near Winchelsea, East Sussex starting on Wednesday, 20 September and were completed on Thursday, 28 September 2006.
Following a survey of the area the Highways Agency found that the existing signs could be improved to show clearer information for road users about routes into Winchelsea. All signs were placed on black posts, which blend in with the surroundings.
