Project

Where

Ray Hall Viaduct on the M6 southbound between junctions 8 and 9 and also the M6/M5 southbound link.

When

Work started on the 2nd of October and was completed in November 2007

What we did

We repaired the structures supporting the M6 and installed a system to protect them from further damage. We worked 24 hours a day to complete the works quickly so that we can re-opened the motorway 6 weeks earlier than programmed.

What are the benefits

The £6.9 million scheme keeps traffic moving by maintaining the structural integrity of the viaducts.
