Project
We carried out essential road maintenance to the southbound carriageway of the A34 Botley Interchange. The work started on 13 October 2006 and finished on 19 November 2006.
The work consisted of lane 1 resurfacing to the carriageway to improve the surface condition of the road, providing a quieter surface and smoother ride. There were also associated drainage repairs and removal of redundant traffic signals.
Traffic Management
The works were undertaken primarily on Saturday nights, with occassional week night working, road closures and convoy traffic management were employed during this period.
