In January 2007 works to improve safety at the A30 Stanwell crossing were completed.
What did the works involve?
- Increased the size of the waiting area in the central reservation of the crossing
- Laid a new antiskid road surface on each approach to the crossing
- Installed new warning signs
- Upgraded the crossing with a new system
How have the works made a difference?
