Overnight work to extend the safety barrier along the A2 at Cobham in Kent started on Monday, 27 November and were completed on Thursday, 21 December.
The work lengthened the existing metal safety barrier in the central reserve by 500 metres. This will help protect road users along the 1.24 miles (2km) stretch of road by separating the two carriageways.
The work took place overnight between 7.30pm and 5am Monday to Friday.
