Public Consultation

2005 Public Consultation

Public Consultation on proposals for the scheme was held in Spring 2005.

Agreement to consult further was reached following a legal challenge to the public consultation. The challenge arose because those bringing the challenge believed that they should have been formally consulted on a route other than the one described in public consultation leaflets.

Further Public Consultation on additional route options for the new road between Ellington and Fen Drayton was held between 1 December 2006 and 9 March 2007

Public Consultation Results

Comments from both the 2005 and 2006/7 consultations have been considered in making the Preferred Route Announcements for the scheme and in reaching a decision between the CHUMMS Strategy and Alternative Proposal. A summary of these is contained in the Part I and Part II Scheme Assessment Report. Details of how you can view this can be seen in the publications page.
