Project

Following the installation of traffic signals at M42 Junction 3 in March 2005, the safety audit procedure identified further works that are required to ensure that all aspects of this scheme are in compliance with current design and safety standards.

These works included the installation and modification of signs and safety fencing on approaches to the M42 Interchange as well as additional Road Markings / anti-skid surfacing. Improvements were also made to pedestrian crossing areas.

The work started on Monday 5th March 2007 and lasted 4 weeks with the majority of work carried out during night time.
