Project

Work to reduce accidents and delays to traffic at the A5 - A483 Mile End Roundabout started on 15 January 2007 and was completed on 31 May 2007.  This formed part of our overall strategy to reduce congestion and improve safety.

We have widened three of the four roads approaching the roundabout and also widened the central island of the roundabout to help Large Good Vehicles negotiate the curve. We also replaced the existing lighting on the roundabout.
