The Project
On 26th February 2007 we began a trial road layout to reduce congestion on the M25 anticlockwise carriageway at junction 19. The trial was removed during the night of the 7th December 2007.
The aim of the trial was to improve traffic flows and safety on the anticlockwise M25. Our data showed that the trial had a positive effect on traffic flows. However due to local objections it has been decided not to proceed with making this layout permanent.
