M1/M69 Public Consultation Information

What happens now?

Following Public Consultation (March - May 2007) of the Options we will consider all comments and prepare a report detailing the findings of the public consultation. This will inform the Secretary of State when reaching a decision on the Preferred Route. Our report will be published later this year.

We aim to publish the Preferred Route Announcement at the end of 2007.  Once the Preferred Route has been announced further detailed studies will be completed. We will then publish an Environmental Statement and Draft Orders.  These will provide more details on the selected option and a further opportunity for comments to be made.

The deadline for receiving comments was 31st May 2007.
