Traffic Management

Subject to successful commissioning of the traffic signals installation, all permanent traffic management will be removed from the Island on Sunday 18 November. The Island shall be controlled by the newly installed permanent signals. During subsequent weeks there will be localised minor lane closures as required to enable finishing works to be completed safely. Whilst finishing works are in progress it will be necessary to leave the speed restrictions in place to protect the workforce.
Traffic management arrangements for the week commencing Monday 3rd December.
Monday 3rd December until Friday 7th December 2007 - Daytime
- Localised minor lane closures as required around the island. During single lane running around the island, each approach must also be reduced to a single lane.
Ongoing Speed Restrictions
A 24hr 30 mph mandatory speed restriction has been implemented around the island and at each approach/exit.
