The Project

The Highways Agency in conjunction with Warwickshire County Council introduced  traffic management measures to reduce the width of the circulatory carriageway and the A425 Warwick exit. The scheme was developed to reduce queuing on the A46 southbound off slip and was trialled for 5 weeks.

The Trial was also to prevent right turners form emerging from Budbrooke Road at the request of Warwickshire County Council for the last 2 weeks of the 5 week period.  The trial was completed on 4th May  and results are awaited. The resulting traffic flows and patterns were monitored by camera.
