The Project

The Project is to carry out improvement works to the existing Holly Lane roundabout where the A5 meets the B4116 north of Atherstone in Warwickshire. The work will improve safety and reduce delays.

The Highways Agency and Warwickshire County Council are working on this project with ALDI who are extending their premises and funding the works.

The work is now substantially complete and open to traffic but requires some remedial works to be carried out.

Traffic Management

The works will only take place on the carriageway during off-peak periods. During these work periods, in order to safeguard the safety of roadusers and the workforce, all approaches to the roundabout will be reduced to a single lane and subject to traffic control.

When the works on the carriageway are not in progress, traffic management restrictions will be removed and normal running restored, subject to any safety requirements.
