The Project

The scheme involves the construction of a roundabout on the A66 between Sadberge and Morton Palms and forms part of Darlington Borough Councils' Darlington Eastern Transport Corridor which intersects the A66.

The works on the A66 started on 21st May 2007 and are expected to be finished by the end of April 2008.

Traffic management will involve a 30mph speed restriction throughout the works area and 1 or 2 overnight closures, to be determined, required to lift a bridge deck into position.
