The Project Control Framework
On 1st April 2008 we launched the Project Control Framework. The Framework sets out how we, together with the Department for Transport, manage and deliver major improvement projects.

Works Update
Costain Limited, the main contractor for the M25 Widening Scheme Junctions 1b to 3, will continue onsite at the Darenth compound in a reduced capacity. This is to complete our final operations, and until the roads are commissioned in May 2010.
The team are concentrating on completing the outstanding work at the junction two roundabout and slip roads, removing CCTV cameras and installing communication cabling and equipment.
Some night work remains to be programmed. Traffic will be diverted only when absolutely necessary and there will also be some overnight lane closures on both carriageways.

We will continue to liaise closely with both Dartford and Sevenoaks local authorities throughout the contract in respect of our application for consent for these works under Section 61 of The Control of Pollution Act 1974.
