The Project
Resurfacing, white lining and kerbing work on the A1 southbound between Elkesley and West Drayton, Nottinghamshire began on Saturday 4th August and was completed by Monday 10th August 2007.
Despite the problems encountered on the morning of the 6th August, which resulted in the late opening of the southbound carriageway, the scheme will provide quieter surfacing and keep the road in a safe and serviceable condition.
