The Project

The Highways Agency has carried out essential waterproofing work on the A21 near Tonbridge, Kent.  The work took place in two stages between Friday 7 September and Wednesday 12 September and Friday 14 September - Friday 21 September.

In order to get the work done in the quickest time possible, the work took place continuously over two separate weeks. Drivers will see the benefits of new waterproofing and surfacing on the bridges, which will provide longer lasting durable surfaces.  This will minimise any further repairs from water damage in the future providing value for money and investing in improved services.
