The Project
This scheme was the second part of the M56 Junction 14 drainage renewal. The drainage in the westbound verge was completely replaced in October 2004.
The drainage network on the eastbound verge and central reserve, had a number of defects which require attention. Without this work, problems would have persisted leading to more regular lane closures.
Work started on 8th October 2007 and was finished by early February 2008.
