The Project
A £350,000 scheme to improve safety along a stretch of the A46 between Margidunum and Farndon was completed in October 2007
Sections of both the east and westbound carriageways of the A46 between Margidunum Roundabout and Farndon near Newark were resurfaced between 10th October and 19th October 2007. Patching work between Margidunum Roundabout and Flintham also took place where necessary. All of the work took place when traffic flows were lightest, between 8pm and 6am each night.
