Signed diversion routes will be put into place during periods of closures, and wide load diversion routes will be in place. An emergency route will be available through the works. Access to all properties and business on the A45 will be maintained.

The main A45 carriageway works were completed prior to Christmas 2007. Resurfacing of A45/M45 Thurlaston Island is programmed to take place between 04 and 07 February utilising overnight closures.

A 40 mph speed limit will operate on the A45 in the vicinity of the works.

Monday 04 February to Friday 08 February 2008 - Daytime (09.30-15.30hrs)
  • A45 westbound carriageway between Thurlaston Island and B4453 - single lane running.
Monday 04 February to Wednesday 06 February 2008 - Overnight (22.00 - 06.00hrs)
  • M45 between A45 Thurlaston Island and M1 J17 eastbound and westbound - carriageway closed.
  • A45 eastbound between A4071 and Thurlaston Island - carriageway closed.
  • B4429 at Thurlaston Island - carriageway closed.
