The Project

Work to improve safety by strengthening Weald Place Bridge on the A21 near Sevenoaks in Kent, started on Friday 12 October and is now complete.  The bridge, which carries the road Hubbards Hill across the A21, was strengthened by pouring concrete into gaps between the existing pillars to enhance the structure of the bridge should a vehicle collide with it.

Traffic Management

Please note that this information is not updated in real time. Please check Traffic England for the latest information and current traffic conditions.

To enable the work to be carried out, Hubbards Hill was closed to traffic for the duration of the works. A fully signed diversion route was in place, taking traffic along Gracious Lane, Riverhill, the A225 Morley’s Road and Glebe Road.
