The Project

The proposed scheme is to replace the existing 'T' junction of the C539 Mattishall Road and the A47 near Honingham, west of Norwich with a new roundabout.

Construction will involve realignment and new pavement works for the roundabout and the approaches of both the A47 and C539 Mattishall Road. There will be new street lighting, earthworks, drainage, kerbing, signs and lining, and safety barrier improvements.

Construction is planned start in mid-September 2008 and is expected to be completed by mid-March 2009.
