- Northbound: three narrow lanes, no hard shoulder and 50mph speed limit until November 2008 (main construction carriageway widening)
- Southbound: three narrow lanes, no hard shoulder and 50mph speed limit until November 2008 (main construction carriageway widening)
- Northbound : lane 1 closed, overnight 9pm to 5am, Monday 1st to Wednesday 3rd September (surfacing work)

- Road closed in both directions from 4am Monday September 1st until March 2009 (bridge widening)

- Road reopen 29th August Friday evening; two-way traffic signals for up to six weeks.(bridge widening)

- Southbound: hardshoulder closures (24 hours) Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September (removal of vegetation)
