Diversion Maps

Diversion 1

When the on slip from the A556 to the M56 junction 7 Eastbound is closed,  traffic will divert onto the M56 Westbound to junction 9, then Northbound on the M6 to junction 20, round junction 20 and back along the M56 Eastbound.  (Due to the complex nature of this junction, it may be advisable for drivers, particularly in the case of HGV's, to continue to the M56 junction 10 exit, turning around at the rounabout and rejoining the M56 Eastbound.)

Diversion 2

When the M56 junction 7 off slip is closed, traffic will be diverted along the M56 to junction 6, round the roundabout and back onto the M56 Westbound, and off at junction 7 Westbound.

Diversion 3

When the main carriageway of the M56 is closed Eastbound, traffic will be diverted off at junction 7 Eastbound, around Bowden roundabout and back on at junction 7.
