Works Progress

Works Progress Eastbound

Works commenced on site on the 26th August 2008 and is expected to be finished before Christmas 2008.  

All drainage works are completed.  All works on the footbridge has also been completed.  During the week safety barrier work continues.  The communications ducting will be completed during the next week. Topsoiling continues to take place.  The topsoiling includes hyro-seeding incorporating wild flowers.

All works affecting the carriageway will take place during the night.  Subject to weather and environmental constraints, our proposals are as follows:

On 28th and 29th November 2008, junction 7 entry slip to the M56 Eastbound will be closed overnight.  Diversion 1 will be in operation on these nights. 

In addition on the the nights of 3rd to 10th December 2008, junction 7 entry slip to the M56 Eastbound will be closed overnight.  Diversion 1 will be in operation on these nights.
